Wendy Sheehan
Hi, I am Wendy Sheehan and I am a Mortgage and Insurance Adviser and the Business owner of Greenlight - mortgages & insurances, Hawke’s Bay.
I live and work out of Waipawa and cover the whole of Central Hawke’s Bay. I have three young children aged 9 - 17 who attend the local schools. My partner Aaron and I decided to move our family from New Plymouth, Taranaki, to beautiful Hawke’s Bay in 2018, and we are all committed to our new home and the wider community that we live and work in.

I am passionate about providing a client-focused service to my local community by offering mortgage and insurance advice, setting goals with clients and putting a plan into place to achieve these goals.
I aim to take the stress out of the finance and loan approval process by guiding my clients through each step to achieve their goals and find a solution that suits each client’s individual needs.
In terms of qualifications I hold the benchmark NZQA qualification for our industry the New Zealand Certificate of Financial Services Level 5- Core, Residential Lending, Life- Health and Investment strands.
I have had many years of hands on experience, both within the banking system as a loan consultant with
TSB Bank for 12 years, and recently as a mortgage adviser in New Plymouth and now in Hawke’s Bay. I purchased Greenlight in October 2023 with the vision to continue our focus on client relationship. I have great relationships within the real estate, banking, legal and property inspection sectors and can point you in the right direction.

Hi, I am Noel Hanson and I am a Mortgage and Insurance Adviser, Business partner of Greenlight - mortgages & insurances, Hawke’s Bay, which Wendy and I proudly launched to Hawke’s Bay on
4 July 2020.
I am married to Leanne – a local intermediate school teacher. We have two adult children – Harriette and Thomas – who have both grown up in “the Bay”, are tertiary and diploma qualified, and are now gainfully employed in their respective fields.
You could be excused for thinking that the Hanson family are committed to “the Bay”. If you thought that you would be 100% dead right – we have been living and working in “the Bay” since September 1998 – best decision ever!

In terms of practical hands-on experience, I draw on a 22-year career in banking in senior leadership and sales management roles before resigning and moving back to “the Bay” in 1998. I set up/launched New Zealand Home Loans to Hawke’s Bay in 2005 before selling it off in 2014 for a big OE. Over the last few years I have been operating under the Mortgage Express banner, but it was time to move on and I have. How exciting is it to be creating your own brand – Greenlight - mortgages & insurances!
I am well connected and well known within Hawke’s Bay with many contacts and centres of influence within the following industries: banking, legal, real estate, valuation, property inspection and other professional intermediaries.

Hi there, my name is Emma Fletcher and I am based in Hastings which has been my hometown since the age of 5. I enjoy the many different characteristics the Bay has to offer.
I have recently taken the next step in my career by teaming up with Greenlight - mortgages & insurances. Stepping out from a corporate background allows me the work life balance to manage family life with my husband and our two teenage sons as they like to keep us on our toes.

I have a large passion for lending and insurance but more so assisting people with budgeting support to help them achieve financial freedom.
My focus is to educate my clients and tailor a lending structure to suit their personal needs as all household income and commitments vary.
I think outside the box, offer transparency and pride myself in efficiency keeping clients in the loop every step of the way.
I can come to you and am flexible with appointments which can be during the day, evening and/or weekends.
I am a qualified financial adviser that has extensive knowledge with many years working in the finance industry (lending and insurance), including a banking background across multiple functions, where no situation is too complex.
